Rent A Space not only provides self storage in Shrewsbury, we also do our bit to look after our community. We are a local business with the people of Shrewsbury at our heart, and so we feel it’s our role to give something back to the community that we rely on.
We already provide affordable, stress free commercial storage in Shrewsbury for startup businesses looking to get off the ground, but we know we can do even more for the wider Shrewsbury community. That’s why every year we make it our mission to get involved with local causes. Here are a few examples of our most recent causes.
SHOEBOX APPEAL
Rent A Space has been a collection point for the Samaritan’s Purse’s popular appeal for the last two years. Shrewsbury residents can drop off donations ready to be shipped around the world and bring joy to children on Christmas Day.
SHREWSBURY TOWN FC
As proud sponsors of Shrewsbury Town FC, we regularly host Facebook competitions to win free match tickets. Here’s one of the lucky winners, getting to meet one of Shrewsbury Town FC’s players.

SHREWSBURY ARK
We’re a local drop of point for Shrewsbury Ark who provides practical and emotional support for those in distress. Please drop off any food you may have and we’ll make sure it gets to them.
NCT SHREWSBURY
Rent A Space pride ourselves on our commitment to local charities, one of which is NCT. We accept donations of any baby equipment and baby clothes in good condition at our reception. We even give NCT a free room to store it all in.
LOCAL FIRE BOBBIES
Local fire bobbies popping into Rent a Space to support one of our many appeals. What a great community we have.
KICKBOXING
We are proud to sponsor a group of talented young kickboxers who need funding to help achieve their ambition of competing in the Junior World Championships in Athens. Go get ‘em!
